BKY-U Antivibration reinforced fork terminal
The KY-U series of vibration-resistant insulated fork cable lugs are reinforced with a copper ring in the barrel, designed to ensure reliable connections on copper conductors even in applications characterised by continuous stress, vibrations and oscillations.
They are manufactured from high-purity electrolytic copper strip and undergo annealing and electrolytic tin-plating processes to increase resistance to mechanical stress and improve the durability of the connection.
They are fitted with a halogen-free PA6.6 insulated cover with an internal funnel-shaped profile, designed to facilitate conductor insertion and prevent the wires from being crimped during wiring.
The internal knurling of the barrel improves contact between the conductor and the terminal, helping to increase traction and the long-term reliability of the connection.
The KY-U series cable lugs comply with the EN 45545-2 standard.
